Welcome To Alexis West!  We have a new addition to the public relations and marketing side of the Club.  Our new Social Media Consultant, Alexis West will be gathering photos of the Club for future media publication.  She is a professional photographer, videographer, illustrator, and digital artist among her many talents.  Alexis will show up at the ranges during various events, so welcome her and keep smiling for the little birdie!

The next Pin Shoot will be held Sunday, March 14.  Sign ups will begin at 1:00 PM with shooting at 1:30 PM.  Please pre-register at pinshoot@gmail.com so Romey has an idea of how many people to expect.  The Rifle/Pistol Ranges will be closed to general shooting for the afternoon.

A Public Handgun Familiarization Day (Handgun 101) will be held on Sunday, May 2.  There will be two sessions, one from 10:00 AM - 12:45 PM and one from 1:15 PM - 4:00 PM.  The cost will be $10 per person with the proceeds going to the relocation fund.  This will be a basic handgun safety and handling course, not concealed carry or self defense.  There will also be a live fire practice session with the class.  To register, please call Bill Layton at 541.279.3444 or email at laytonwa@aol.com.  The class is limited to two groups of 15 people so please register early.  A flyer (PDF) with all of the details is located here, which can then be printed.  The Rifle/Pistol Ranges will be closed to general shooting for the day.

Thank you to Mo Chandler, Brian Ferry, Josh Bishop, Jim Oeder, Tom York, Dennis Mikesh, Gary Bryson, Si Simonsen, Jason Tryon, Terrance Wonser and anybody else not listed that showed up for the Pistol Range Work Day on February 27.  The Range looks great!

There is a NEW Google interactive Calendar on the Calendar page.  The Calendar has Events, Closures, Shoots, Etc.  The Calendars can be printed and/or synchronized with other calendars.

The Club Rules page has been updated and a NEW link added to allow printing and/or saving the document in PDF.  Anyone using the Redmond Rod & Gun Club facility is expected to comply with all of the rules.  Please follow the link on the Main page to review our rules.  The Gun Safety and Range Rules link on the Rifle & Pistol Range page has also been updated.

There is a whole NEW Links page to drool over and browse to your wallets content.  More links have been added!

The Hyperlinks to send email to webmaster@rrandgc.com (or any email address on the web site) are set up so that if a persons email program is set up, it should automatically put in the email address and the subject line appropriate to the email. The Hyperlinks to PDF documents or other pages will take you to the appropriate file or page.

This web site uses PDF (Portable Document Format) for all of the printable files on various pages.  This allows for fast and efficient printing and/or saving of the document.  The latest FREE version of Adobe Acrobat Reader can be downloaded from here or towards the bottom of the Rifle Range page.  Having the most current version will enable a more enjoyable experience with the files.

This web site is being optimized for Mozilla Firefox web browser, which is operating system independant (for all of you Linux and Mac folks).  Firefox works great in all versions of Windows.  This site will continue to work well in Internet Explorer.  There is a new link to the Mozilla Firefox web site for the FREE Firefox web browser at the bottom of the Main page.  The web site will be best viewed at a screen resolution of 1024X768 or greater (the greater the better!) and on a widescreen monitor.  It looks great at 1366X768!
