Rod & Gun Club
CLUB RULES
The Club rules are meant to ensure the safety of all users of our facilities. It is expected that all members and visitors will conduct themselves in a responsible manner. All club members are expected to be familiar with these rules, their firearms and the basic rules of firearm safety. Any violation of these rules will result in a written notice from the Board of Directors. Subsequent or repeated violations will result in suspension or revocation of membership at the discretion of the Board.
Control
The ranges are under the control of designated Range Safety Officers (RSO). RSO’s are provided to maintain safety and control of the ranges at all times, and to enforce the rules. In the event of an emergency, they are trained to respond with appropriate action. Membership and use of club facilities implies that users have read these rules and agree to follow the direction of the designated Range Safety Officers. These are volunteers, they DO NOT write club policy. If you have questions or concerns about these rules, please contact the Board of Directors.
Operation
Use of club facilities is available to members and their guests subject to payment of required use fees (please see fee schedule below.) Non-members will be allowed use of club facilities including the Rifle and Pistol ranges during normal hours of operation. Fees for members and non-members are set by the Board of Directors and are subject to change. Operating hours for each discipline are set by the Board of Directors. Hours and days of operation are posted in the clubhouse and on our website, www.rrandgc.com. Use of club facilities is available by reservation, and occasionally closes the club to the general membership. Use of club facilities without the presence of a Board member or a designated Range Safety Officer is not permitted and will be considered Criminal Trespass and prosecuted.
Training
Firearms and Range Safety Officer training is available. Any member interested in either of these programs is encouraged to contact the Board of Directors. The Board meets on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the clubhouse. Contact information is also available on our website at www.rrandgc.com. The minimum age for Range Safety Officers is 21.
Activities
